Kika Barr, Deputy CEO at WiscNet

Kika has been with WiscNet since January 2000, holding leadership roles across member support, service management, financial, and operations oversight. She currently serves as Deputy CEO, focusing on how WiscNet can support member institutions as new technologies and national initiatives — such as quantum networking — begin to take shape.

Kika is particularly interested in the role regional research and education networks can play as connectors and translators within the evolving national quantum ecosystem. She supports strategic partnerships and cross-sector collaboration to help ensure institutions are informed and prepared as quantum networking initiatives advance.
