WiscNet Membership Services
WiscNet Membership Service is the heart of WiscNet – it’s our why – and what we do as a research and education network for Wisconsin is unique.
There is no technical side to membership service, but there is the practical side of having access to a “people network.” WiscNet hosts an annual two-day conference, WiscNet Connections, where members receive a free ticket to connect, converse, and learn about topics and ideas that impact their organizations today and in the future. We facilitate Community Conversations, regional meetings, and WiscNet Advisory to the Membership groups for members to convene face-to-face, learn what we do, share resources, and connect with other experts. We know a lot—we have a lot of knowledge and expertise among our staff and, together with our members, have years of knowledge and experience. We strive to be the “go-to” resource for our members and that’s the “Connecting People” part of our tagline; we take it very seriously.
Along with your membership comes valued services we often forget to mention—access to our internal experts and events that can support your Community Area Networks (CAN) and our CAN of CANs strategy, E-Rate support, mail relay services, web site hosting, email list service hosting, and technical consultation that comes with every contact you make with one of our team of experts.
