Web Services
To help you comply with E-rate requirements and customize web access to fit your organization's standards, use our continuously-updated, high-performance filtering service to block sites, content and services that you deem inappropriate. We also can host your institution's web site, freeing you from the burden of maintaining a web server but giving you full control of the content. WiscNet membership also includes a free 1GB website, supporting the LAMP web development platform. Some members use this space to provide an emergency website.

E-mail is a critical Internet service that requires constant attention. In 2008 we significantly improved our e-mail hosting service – a five-fold increase in storage per account, spam and virus filtering, sophisticated mailing list functions – while maintaining the ease-of-use and simple management that our current service provides.

WiscNet is helping you keep your data and network secure. We can provide you with a WiscNet managed firewall, or manage one you already own. We can also help you discover vulnerabilities on your servers with the Nessus scanner. We also offer protection from spam and email viruses with our Postini based Anti-Spam / Anti-Virus Service, listed under Email services.
