We're always trying something new at WiscNet. Past pilots that have made the transition to full blown production services include our Moodle powered Learning Management Service and our educational content brokerage, Digital Districts Online. Now there's there's the network storage pilot service, MasStore.

Our members use an extremely-reliable Internet access service, built on redundancy, advanced networking technology and the capacity to handle the most demanding network applications. We support you with the most-experienced network technologists in Wisconsin: Our members consistently rank our technical support staff as what they value most about WiscNet membership.

To help you comply with E-rate requirements and customize web access to fit your organization's standards, use our continuously-updated, high-performance filtering service to block sites, content and services that you deem inappropriate.  We also can host your institution's web site, freeing you from the burden of maintaining a web server but giving you full control of the content. WiscNet membership also includes a free 1GB website, supporting the LAMP web development platform. Some members use this space to provide an emergency website.

E-mail is a critical Internet service that requires constant attention. In 2008 we significantly improved our e-mail hosting service – a five-fold increase in storage per account, spam and virus filtering, sophisticated mailing list functions – while maintaining the ease-of-use and simple management that our current service provides.

WiscNet is the one-stop shop where you can improve online learning for your K-12 district's students and clear the way for online professional development for educators. We offer a variety of options to support member's online learning needs including Digital Districts Online, an online content brokerage, a Learning Management Service (LMS), powered by Moodle, and Annenberg video on demand.
